Please see below information regarding Expressions of Interest to be an SGFA Appointed Director.
 
St George Football Association (SGFA) are calling for Expressions of Interest from members of the local community for appointment as an Independent Director to the SGFA Board.
Candidates will be assessed under a merit based selection process as per the Eligibility Criteria.
The SGFA Board is a working Board and as such, successful appointees will be required to demonstrate their capacity to attend all required meetings and fulfil their active role and responsibilities.
 
The ideal Candidate will have demonstrated success working in one or more of the following areas: Corporate, Government, Community or Business Organisations with a proven and successful track record in implementing and managing good governance practices and in collaborating and communicating with multiple community stakeholders.
Candidates with a successful record of working with Government in the areas of Legal, Business Development, Marketing or Project Management and who can demonstrate an effective professional record of participation on Government, Community or Private Boards are also strongly encouraged to apply.
